Outside
Edge
This was a
hysterically funny play, set in the world of village cricket by Richard
Harris.
Who's for
cricket?
You've heard of
Lords and the Oval in London, Old Trafford in Manchester, Headingly in Leeds.
All venues for that most graceful and skilful of British summer games -
cricket. Well you can now add Frisby on the Wreake to that list of
top cricketing venues, after the Frisby Players production, "Outside Edge" . The
team trained hard, working on their slip catches and off drives with more than a
little attention given to the odd silly point, backed by the usual staff of
scorers, tea makers and supporters.
This production
provided another three evenings of light hearted enjoyment for the audience and
gave some newcomers a chance to tread the boards.
